Building Relational Resilience

Transforming Conflicting into Effective Relationships

Building Relational Resilience is a program that enables you to take challenging situations in your everyday experience and use them as a catalyst for personal and relational development. The program guides you step by step through a process for gaining insights into these challenges and naturally learning how to turn them into new, resilient habits of behavior.

  • Community Support
  • Level 01

    Behavioral Trigger Awareness

Begin your journey by establishing your capacity to notice triggers in different relationships.

  • Level 02

    Identifying Unhelpful Judgments

Next, you will learn to turn inward and notice what unhelpful judgments you make when someone else's behavior triggers you.

  • Level 03

    Identifying Your Behaviors

Once you have gained greater awareness of your own unhelpful judgments, you can turn your attention outwards again, and learn to notice what you do from these judgments.

  • Level 04

    Identifying Others’ Perspectives

Then comes a new step, using your imagination to go beyond your experience and learn how to take others’ perspectives - what might you trigger in them?

  • Level 05

    Seeking Others’ Perspectives

Once you have an idea of how others might experience and judge your behaviors, we invite you to actively ask about the others’ experience. You can test yourbest guesses by seeking their perspective.

  • Level 06

    From Judgment to Curiosity

Once you have completed this cycle, you can learn how to reframe the impulse to judge as an invitation for curiosity. Establishing a new habit like this can save much of the headaches caused by our initial triggers, judgments and behaviors.
